Dr. Stephen W. Etheredge specializes in Sports Medicine and Regenerative Medicine, with a focus on emerging biologic treatments and ultrasound-guided procedures. He offers a variety of treatment options, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP), alpha-2-macroglobulin (A2M), prolotherapy, amniotic-derived products, exosomes, exosome IV infusions, and Ocelot Nano. He takes a patient-centered approach, working with each individual to develop a personalized treatment plan.

Dr. Etheredge serves as Medical Director and Head Team Physician for Louisiana State University Athletics. He also serves as Medical Director for the BROC Foundation, the Louisiana Athletic Trainers Association, and the Baton Rouge Soccer Association.

Originally from Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Dr. Etheredge was a two-time state champion in football and track before playing football at Florida State University under Coach Bobby Bowden. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Florida State University and his Doctor of Medicine from St. Matthew’s University. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, where he served as chief resident, followed by a Sports Medicine fellowship at Baton Rouge General. He also has specialized training in Emergency Medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Etheredge enjoys the outdoors with his wife, Ashley, and their two sons, Colt and Rhett. The family lives on the bayou outside Baton Rouge and enjoys mentoring local youth through sports.
