Dr. R. David Rabalais is a board-certified Hip, Knee, Shoulder, and Sports Medicine Specialist serving patients at BROC’s Zachary Campus.

Dr. Rabalais earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. He received his Doctor of Medicine from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, where he also completed his internship and residency in orthopaedics. Dr. Rabalais further advanced his expertise with a fellowship in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He specializes in a comprehensive range of surgical and non-surgical treatments for hip, knee, shoulder, and sports-related conditions, focusing on improving function and reducing pain. With a commitment to personalized patient care, Dr. Rabalais is dedicated to enhancing his patients’ quality of life through effective treatment strategies.
