About Dr. Bankston

Dr. A. Brent Bankston is a board-certified Hip, Knee, and Sports Medicine Specialist serving patients at BROC’s Bluebonnet Campus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Dr. Bankston earned his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology at Louisiana State University. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine at LSU Medical School in Shreveport and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of South Alabama Medical Center. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Bankston is the Team Physician for University High School, and Parkview High School. He is passionate about sports medicine and medical missions, having participated in Operation WALK and Haiti disaster relief. With a commitment to personalized care, Dr. Bankston employs the latest advancements in orthopedic medicine to help patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life. He remains dedicated to advancing the field of orthopaedics through both clinical practice and academic contributions.
