Understanding Your Statement
Each month, you’ll receive a statement that lists the medical services provided. This includes charges from any doctors you saw, as well as any lab or X-ray services. Each charge will only appear once—first in the month the service happened, and then afterward only in your total balance.
If your statement shows an amount in the Private Pay section (labeled “Pay This Amount”), that is the portion you are responsible for and is due upon receipt.
About Co-Payments
Any co-payment you made at your appointment will appear as a credit on your balance.
After your insurance processes your claim, your co-payment will be applied to your private pay balance.
